Bengaluru, November 5 — Shoppers in Bengaluru are paying more for Nandini ghee, butter and paneer after the Bengaluru Milk Union (BAMUL) revised retail prices on November 4. The latest changes follow the Karnataka Milk Federation’s decision to raise the price of Nandini milk by ₹8 per litre.

A one-litre sachet of Nandini ghee now costs ₹850, up from ₹715, an increase of nearly 19%. The 500-ml sachet is priced at ₹425, while a one-litre jar or tin costs ₹870. That puts the jar and tin ₹20 above the sachet for the same quantity.

Unsalted butter recorded a steeper percentage increase. A 500-gram pack rose from ₹285 to ₹390, an increase of ₹105, or nearly 37%. Under the revised price list, salted butter costs ₹90 for a 100-gram pack and ₹380 for a 500-gram pack.

A one-kg pack of regular Nandini paneer now costs ₹485, up ₹77 from ₹408. The smaller regular paneer packs are priced at ₹115 for 200 grams and ₹260 for 500 grams. A 200-gram pack of medium-fat paneer costs ₹110. At the revised rates, buying a one-litre ghee sachet, 500 grams of unsalted butter and one kg of regular paneer together costs ₹1,725, up from ₹1,408 before the changes.
